Met trots dra ek die boshoed, ter ere van die broers wat langs my gestaan het en die wat ons vandag onthou. Wearing the Boshoed with pride, honoring the brothers who stood beside me and those we remember today.

26 August Remembrance Day - Proud to remember my service in the SADF Commandos on the Angolan border. The experience taught me courage, discipline, and the value of true comradeship. Today I wear my Boshoed in honour of those who served alongside me, those who made sacrifices, and those who are no longer with us.
