NSW - SAMVOA - Sydney ANZAC Day Parade

Monday 25th April is ANZAC Day and SAMVOA NSW, representing South African Veterans in Australasia, are honoured to be invited as guests of RSL NSW to March as part of the Commonwealth Forces, in Remembrance of those who served and in particular those who paid the ultimate price.

Parade Dress: 1A as found in the Dress Code at https://www.samvo.international/dress-regulations

Anyone needing items of uniform may reach out to NSW Quartermaster Ugo Cannavo, mindful of the short lead time.

Date: 25 April 2023

Step-Off Time (Grand Hotel): 10:00 sharp - form up 09:45.

Venue: Outside The Grand Hotel, 32 Hunter Street, Sydney. 100m from Wynyard Station

Note: Marchers are invited to join us for a cold beer at the Grand from around 08:30/09:00 (given the program starts about an hour earlier this year)

Start Line Info: We will march as the SAMVOA Platoon from Grand Hotel at 10:00 sharp, to Chifley Square, corner of Phillip and Hunter Sts., to be formed up with the Parade at 10:15, as part of Group 48, British Commonwealth Veterans (Note again, this is an hour earlier than normal)

March finishes at the corner of Elizabeth and Liverpool Streets.
